Small octavo: 21 x 14.5cm. Adapted as a novel and illustrated from the award-winning motion picture commissioned by the Lutheran Church, written by Allan Sloane, and produced in Germany by Lothar Wolff of Louis de Rochemont Associates. "An exciting novel of conflict and cruelty in communist East Germany." (from the DJ). Robert EA Lee (1921-2009) was the head of the Lutheran Church's film production and best known for his 1953 production of the bio-film Martin Luther, and his 1966 Academy Award-nominated film, A Time for Burning.
