Book is tight, square, but does have scattered pencil notations on pages up the 33rd page and a F/O name on the FFFP. Book Condition: Good; torn fabric spine cover; wear to tail, tips, all edges of boards and board surfaces; moisture marks on first two pages and last two pages. No DJ. Brown printed board on front, blank on rear with green fabric spine overlay. String sewn signatures; scant foxing; light page toning in the printed page areas. 162 pp 16mo (6" x 3.5" x .5"). This is a book of lessons and questions designed to exhibit some of the most important doctrines and moral precepts recorded in the Gospels. Frequent references are made to the Scriptures for answers to the questions while other questions have no references given are designed to exercise the mind of the scholar. A clean very presentable copy. 8 copies of the 1838-1863 editions listed on OCLC.
