Sobre este artículo
Salt Lake City: Howe Brothers, 1982. First Edition. 342pp. Octavo [24 cm] Red cloth with the title gilt stamped on the backstrip. Very/good/Near fine. Faint rubbing to extremities to the jacket. "Quicksand and Cactus, an autobiography by Juanita Brooks, could hardly be more appropriately named. Her life began in the 'Mormon Country' of southern Nevada and Utah's Dixie, and after ripe, full years continues there at her home in St. George, Utah. Born in 1898 of pioneering Mormon stock in Bunkerville, Nevada, she has become one of the distinguished historians of the American West, perhaps the most notable person to emerge from the settlements of southwestern Utah and southern Nevada." - Charles S. Peterson.
