After his return from Paris, Henry Miller wrote this novella about his in Paris in the early 1930s, when he and Alfred Perlès shared an apartment in Clichy as struggling writers. Description: Second printing. 6.75" x 4.25". Original grey, black, and yellow wrappers over thick paper covers. Features 29 photographs by Brassai. 171 pages. Condition: Shelfwear to head and tail of spine and light wear to extremities. Tiny bit of foxing to top edge. Pages do not show signs of use. Some glue remnants to last page.
