New York: Viking Press, 1988. First edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. This is copy number 352 of 500 of the first edition, signed by the author. 1988. Hardcover. Fine copy in a glassine jacket, and Near Fine slipcase. This copy is additionally inscribed by the author to Canadian literary figure Greg Gatenby on the title page. Gatenby's signature appears on the fly leaf. The slipcase shows minor signs of handling. Gatenby was the founding artistic director of the International Festival of Authors in Toronto, a hugely successful annual event that helped "Time Magazine" declare that Gatenby had made Toronto one of the literary capitals of the world. He also directed the readings at Harbourfront in Toronto, and is the author of "Literary Guide to Toronto.
