Binding: 19th century full calf with tooled corner pieces and center piece on covers. Gilt ornamentation saved from original spine. , Notes: A fine Qur’an from the mid 18th century. Text is written in Arabic on 502 leaves. Written in nasta’liq script in black and red ink with 11 lines to a page. Occasional notes in red and black ink in margins. , Size: 4to (275x185mm). , Illustration: Illustrated with a superb double-page illuminated watercolour title page in various colours and gold.
