First edition of Spence's second novel, about the radio director of a major advertising agency in New York, uncommon in the original jacket. 8'' x 5.5''. Original beige and burgundy boards. In original unclipped ($2.50) pictorial dust jacket. Burgundy topstain. 351, [1] pages. Boards with moderate soil and bumping, some foxing to endpapers. Jacket rear panel fairly soiled, and with several shallow chips along edges, a few closed tears and attendant edgewear. Soil to edges of text block.
