A nice copy, 587 pages including notes, bibliography and index. Square with solid binding and sharp corners, head of spine lightly bumped. Interior is clean and unmarked. The unclipped dustjacket shows original $3.50 price, with edgewear and sunning on spine. Protected in mylar. An outstanding biography of SIr Thomas Stamford Raffles (1781-1826) and his involvement in Southeast Asia.
