Illustrated with 24 colour plates, 12 folding plates and upwards of 300 Photographs. Original blue cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine, gilt vignette of a winged train to front boards, some general wear and a few marks, rubbing to joints and extremities. Contents good, no inscriptions, no spotting, bindings a little shakey in a couple of volumes, the edges of a few of the folding plates have been trimmed (not affecting the image) and a few have tears along the fold lines.
