The blue square does have a small white printing mark, else in very good condition; Sheet size 255 x 301mmReference: Basford 07. (I understand from my source, that there were 20 copies which were numbered.)

No dust jacket. Softcover is significantly torn at the spine head and tail and the textblock signatures are visible as a result, the spine is also creased and the bottom corner of the textblock is crumpled/folded. The binding is cracked as a result of the spine wear and can be seen from the inside at the start of the "Planches" section (full-page black and white illustrations); please handle carefully as the pages can start to detach. There are small tears along the edges of the cover and nicks along the fore-edge. Cover is soiled, smudged, and the plate on the front is creased and nicked. First edition of the precocious author's third book. One of 170 numbered copies on velin, from a total edition of 205 (plus h.c. copies). Prassinos (born in Turkey in 1920) was quickly adopted by the surrealists as a creator of automatic writing par excellence. Her first book, LA SAUTERELLE ARTHRITIQUE was published in 1935, accompanied by a preface by Paul Eluard and a photograph by Man Ray.

Marie Therese Robert was an Art Deco student at 'Academie Julian' in Paris in the early 1930's. The Academie still exists today, and is now known as ESAG Penninghen.
