Forester was born in Cairo in 1899, lived in the UK and died in California, USA in 1966 (aged 66). He was an English novelist known for his writings on naval warfare.With unclipped dustwrapper. In the publisher's original black cloth binding, with titles stamped in silver to spine. Externally excellent with minor shelfwear and slight bumping ot head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is unclipped and very smart, with slight shelfwear. Internally, firly bound. Minor faint scattered spotting ot edges, not affecting pages which remain bright and clean. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
