The first UK edition, preceded by the US edition which was published a year earlier. 8vo. 320pp. Black cloth lettered and ruled in silver at the spine. Spine ends very lightly bruised and with a strip of very light partial browning to the free endpapers. Former owner name pencilled to the head of the front free endpaper. A very good copy in B.S.Biro-designed pictorial dust wrapper, non-price-clipped but lightly chafed at the spine ends and corner tips with a touch of light dust soiling and several short closed tears. A novel with a Great War setting..
