When this book first appeared in 1913 it represented the most extensive chronicle of Alberta's cattle country ever undertaken, and since then it has become a cornerstone in the written history of Western Canada. This edition includes every word of the original, complemented by 45 additional archival photos (of the same period and locale as the text).
