Sobre este artículo

New York: A.L. Burt Company, 1926. The first novel published by the English thriller/mystery writer Philip MacDonald (1900-1980), who had a long and distinguished career. A "Queen's Quorum" title that was also made into a film. First published in August 1925. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the fourth printing (February 1926) of the First Edition. Rare in any early printing, particularly in jacket. Red cloth binding with gilt titling and decorations on the spine. Clean text; 299 pages. The evocative dustjacket is complete; it shows some edgewear, with chipping at the head of the spine and the corners. The reverse of the jacket lists "Burt's Popular Copyright Fiction." In an archival plastic protector.. Later Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
