Illustrated endpapers, being a sketch of the four main characters out of the " Rat Patrol ", cameo illustration against a brown background. The text is illustrated with brown and white drawings by Michael Lowenbein. Illustrated front cover, showing a coloured drawing of the characters out of The Rat Patrol. Black and maroon writing on the front panel and spine. On the spine there is a small black and white television screen and around that screen other words " Authorised Adventure ". Bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine. The cover is also rubbed and a little grubby. Heavy browning to the paper edges. Browning to the internal pages. An authorised novel based on the sixties television series -- The Rat Patrol. A group of long-range saboteurs/commandos, for the Allies, during World War II in the Libyan desert.
