Kent State University acquired the Raymond Chandler collection of books and manuscripts through purchase and gift from Dr. Matthew J. Bruccoli in 1968. Bruccoli, a leading bibliographer and authority in American literature, compiled Raymond Chandler: A Check List and other bibliographical works on Chandler. Bruccoli passed away on June 4, 2008. Condition: A very good to fine.
