Coloured stylised floral decoration and title block to spine, yellow and black title with large coloured pictorial of "Raymond" with a caged magpie and shoemaker together with large plant on red cloth boards. Very slight fading to top of front board and to spine but pictorial very fresh and bright. Internally very clean, tight and bright but with front endpaper neatly removed (although not an ex library copy) and age darkening to rear endpaper. 4 plates and other illustrations and embellishments. 13 short stories, 128 pages + 16 page publisher's catalogue, many with illustrations. An attractive volume by the prolific Victorian childrens writer and a SCARCE TITLE BY THE AUTHOR C3D. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
