Parsons, West Virginia: McClain Printing Company, 1974. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. 8vo. [6], vii-xiv, 1-230, [4] pp. Green cloth with gold lettering on the front board and spine. Illustrated with full-page portraits and maps. Signed without personalization by Zinn on the free front endpaper. A history of the 1861 campaign which proved difficult for Robert E. Lee. Initials written on the bottom textblock, a bookplate and about three or so ink underlines in the text; jacket has a small closed tear to its rear panel.
