Sobre este artículo
(Los Angeles): Community Relations Committee for Kefauver for President, 1956. Evenly toned. Broadside, on one side of a single leaf, approx. 8-1/2 X 11 inches. Bulletin board poster from Kefauver's second campaign for President, reproducing an article from the New York Herald Tribune citing criticism of the Tennessee senator by former Gov. Millard F. Caldwell of Florida, who called Kefauver "a far-Left liberal and a sycophant for the Negro vote and the union vote." Kefauver's candidacies drew great support from primary voters, but he was defeated for the Democratic nomination twice by Illinois senator Adlai E. Stevenson. At the 1956 Democratic convention, Stevenson had the delegates select his running mate, rather than make the choice himself, and they chose Kefauver.
