Rubbing, bumping, and some wear to spine ends and corners of boards. Some rubbing and light scuffing to illustrated plate on front. Foxing and age toning to edges of text block. Some closed tears to tail edge of a handful of the pages, mostly short, but two measure 12 and 14 cm in length. Some mild age toning to interior with a few mild stains. The face of a character on page 128 has been effaced, with a hole worn through the page. Binding sound. . Hard Cover. Good. Illus. by Price, Margaret Evans.

Still a solid copy of this collection of popular tales for children including Peter Rabbit, Gingerbread Man, Little Black Sambo, Pied Piper, Little Red Hen and of course many others.

Except for a bumped top right cover corner, there is no other damage. Page edges have barely begun to tan. Adorable four-colour drawings, many full-page, make this a book to be appreciated by all ages.
