Sobre este artículo

New York: Random House, 1946. One of the great books of Jazz history. In 2013 Tablet Magazine included it as one of their "101 Great Jewish Books," It is the autobiography of clarinetist Mezz Mezzrow (1899-1972), who was as famous for his drug life as he was for the historic jazz sessions with Sidney Bechet - to the extent that his name became slang for marijuana. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition [stated "First Printing"]. Blue cloth binding with white lettering. 388 pages, indexed, and with several appendices, including a Hipster glossary. Mildly bumped and lightly soiled; light rub to the margins; spine faded a bit. Lacking a dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector. . First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
