Small 8vo.  185 x 117 mm., [7 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches].  77, [1] pp.  Wood engraved frontispiece.  Original green publisher's cloth; head and tail of spine frayed, joints rubbed with some wear, paper label worn away.  Book plate rubbed away.  With faults a sound, clean copy.Second edition, originally appearing in 1842.  This edition "Printed by Private Subscription."Satirical poem, written by a member of the Harvard student body, commemorating an epic food fight between the freshman and sophomore classes at the College.  The poem is illustrated with a playful design of a witch, female custodian, with broom and bucket, playing a fiddle as she flies through the air.  The design is by J. Phillips and the wood engraving by E. E. Worcester.Sinclair Hamilton, Early American Book Illustrators, I, 1167.

He is also a member of the Grolier Club, NY, the Association Internationale de Bibliophile, Paris, and the Print Council of America.
