Original green publisher's cloth; head and tail of spine frayed, joints rubbed with some wear, paper label worn away. Book plate rubbed away. With faults a sound, clean copy.Second edition, originally appearing in 1842. This edition "Printed by Private Subscription."Satirical poem, written by a member of the Harvard student body, commemorating an epic food fight between the freshman and sophomore classes at the College. The poem is illustrated with a playful design of a witch, female custodian, with broom and bucket, playing a fiddle as she flies through the air. The design is by J.
