Sobre este artículo
New York: G P. Putnam, 1864. An important source of contemporary documents, published during the war itself. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First Edition (Volume Six only). Full leather binding; spine has ruling, with red and black labels, titling in gilt. Clean text; vi, 638 pages; followed by 56 pages of "Poetry, Rumors and Incidents" and Index (xvi). Frontis portraits of Generals Grant and Meade. Endpapers and page ends are marbled. The binding is rather well bumped and rubbed; the front board is fully cracked, though still holding. Basically sound; with its generally clear and unfoxed textblock, a nice rebind would be the order here.. First Edition. Full-Leather. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
