Burnt orange coloured cloth covered boards with gilt footprints across the top edge of the front panel and gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with dark red coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Photograph of author to the rear panel. In this book the author retraces the route taken by the Spanish conquistador Cortez and his conquest of Spain, in a very gentle manner. Softening and a little rubbing of the back strip edges rubbing of the book corners. There is a quite nasty bump to the lower text edge, closest to the back strip. Chipping of the back strip edges with some creasing of the dustwrapper edges. Rubbing of the panels, most noticed on the rear panel with fading of the back strip. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
