Articles include: Jerk Off Justice; SDS at War; Eldridge Speaks - First Words From Exile; and Ann Arbor - The Struggle Continues. ; Reconstruction was a counter-culture newspaper which published 9 issues from early spring through the end of the summer of 1969. The paper was a mix current events, poetry, art, and photography with a strong anti-authority political slant referring to police as "pigs", documenting the actions of militant groups, and generally inflammatory writing. The paper merged with the Kansas City Screw to form a new publication with the reader-chosen name of Vortex. Vortex would continue to publish into the early 70's. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 12 pages .
