Chapman and Hall, 1873. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1873 Chapman and Hall edition, 382 pages. Lightly tanned throughout with occasional marks mainly on the page edges. The spine is open internally but still firm. The rough cut page end block is more heavily tanned. The front end papers have a stain at the bottom which does slightly affect the title pages and index but still clear. The end papers are tanned with some pencil notes. The paste down and first front end paper have two labels of previous owners (Charles Hare Hemphill and from the Mollo Collection) The spine is split open inside front and back covers, only holding by a small amount of spine paper. The cover has scuffed corners and edges - with a few small places down to the boards. There are some marks, particularly on the back. The spine is firm and the spine cover fully attached.
