London: Peter Davies, 1926. A book of the Comedy Play The Recruiting Officer as it was acted at the Theatre Royal in drury Lane London 1706. Stated as Limited edition of 550 copies on hand made paper though this copy is not numbered. 64 pages plus twelve full page colour illustrations. Book is bright and clean just a few occasional light foxing spots, a little heavier spotting on front endpaper. Outer covers a little browned, a few light marks and rubbed and worn on edges, cloth spine a little worn and faded. Still a pleasing copy of a beautifully illustrated book SEE IMAGE.
