A collection of full-bleed black-and-white photographs of women by the noted Okinawan photographer and activist Mao Ishikawa (b. 1953), including images from her first book, Hot Days in Camp Hansen, as well as unpublished work from 1975-1977; her first US monograph. With a brief essay by Ishikawa in both Japanese and English. A second edition of this title was published in 2022.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
