An original-release film pressbook, 18 pages, with color cover, for the film that starred Myrna Loy and Robert Mitchum, good Steinbeck/book tie-ins, quite attractive, filled with articles about the stars and the making of the film, shows examples of posters issued, thus it is an excellent reference, this item wasn't in the Adrian H. Goldstone collection, but see Goldstone & Payne E16, not recorded by Morrow. Previously folded, as usual, edgewear, split entirely along spine seam, else very good.
Sinopsis
"The Red Pony" is an episodic novella written by American writer John Steinbeck in 1933. The first three chapters were published in magazines from 1933–1936, and the full book was published in 1937 by Viking Penguin. The stories in the book are tales of a boy named Jody Tiflin. The book has four different stories about Jody and his life on his father's California ranch.
