A straight set, with general minor wear to boards: spines sunned, extremities rubbed, lower hinges cracking, corners bumped, scattered foxing but generally Very Good.
A handsome copy of Cooper's seafaring novel, which was preceded by the first London edition and the first Paris edition (both 1827). SPILLER & BLACKBURN p.53. See BAL 3838, though Blanck appears not to have examined any copies.
