This is a boxed copy of the book; while the box show rubbing, the box is solid; the book itself could be described as excellent condition except that there is (what appears to be) mold along the glued edges of the inside covers both front and back (see the 4th picture), there is damage to the word "Wolken" on the spine, and the silk ribbon has become detached from the book; the lettering and decoration and text edges are silver gilt. There are no marks in the text. This book is undated; the 1886 date of publication is based on research, but other booksellers' descriptions of this book seem less ornate than this copy so the date of publication is uncertain.
