Flowers, birds and winged insects are all careful studies in natural history. The seascapes are both romantic and real. Amelia left no explanation for her drawings. The text of this beautiful children's picture book attempts to complement the pictures with a combination of poetry and appreciation. Suitable for older children and adults who appreciate art and literature.
