Paris, 1826. Original Art Work . Single Sheet. Fine. 22 3/4" x 15. Color Engraving. Engraving Of A Drunken Celebration In The Park, With About 100 Figures. Complete With Full Margins, With Title In French Below The Image, Which Is Approximately 44 X 26 Cm.. The Designer's Name And Date 1826 In The Plate, With Name Printed Below, And Engraver's Name "E. Massard" Is Also Present At Lower Right. Eleanor Massard (1790- ) Was A Daughter Of Artist Jean Massard And Sister Of Artists Jean B. C. Massard And J. B. R. Massard. One Of A Small Number Of Gifted Late Eighteenth Century To Early Nineteenth Century Female Artists, Most Of Whom Were Children Of Artists And Were French Or English. First Issued 1826, But Date Of This Printing Is Unknown.
