A very good clean copy more or less free from the usual foxing; pp. [8], 62 [4]; 35 full page plates, some in colour (chromolithographs and hand-coloured) and some folding, including large folding frontispiece of the author and his wife on Prospect Tower. List of subscribers loosely inserted; errata, notes. Original plum cloth binding with blind stamped decoration, gilt lettering to the spine; very good with a little general wear, faded to the spine, some uneven fading to the boards. Contents clean and tight, original pale yellow coated endpapers, no inscriptions or annotation, a couple of nicks to edge of folds of frontispiece, minimal spotting. Notwithstanding the mottling to the cloth boards, an excellent copy, much cleaner than is usual for this title..
