Light wear to extremities. A little offsetting to edges of first and last pages. Margin stains pp. 3-6. Spot at bottom of p. 367. Chip in edge of p. 369 may be paper fault only. Pages in general very clean and neat. French text.
Originally published in French. A pretended translation. Preface acknowledges some material borrowed from one Josiah Tucker's essay on trade.
