Heavy tanning to pages with visible foxing and dog-eared pages throughout. Heavier foxing and tanning to text block edges and both hinges are cracked with exposed netting. There is cracks to guttering with exposed netting and binding is loose. Boards have visible rubbing and noticeable bumping to corners. Major crushing to spine ends as well.

Cracking to hinges, causing boards to be loose. Some rub-marking and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Heavy bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean. Spine is detached.
