A first edition of this pulp-era science fiction novel by Raymond Jones, with the original dustwrapper. The blurb explains: "In the distant future, a strange plan for civilisation is being followed by man. Two different planet are involved, two separate worlds in space - and yet they are joined, though only by a mysterious pathway whose secret very few know." A fine example of the cultural phenomenon of mass science fiction writing at the beginning of the space age. In the original cloth with the unclipped dustwrapper, which is encased in a glassine wrap. Externally smart with a little bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. THe Dustwrapper is smart with a little wear to the extremities and a chip from the top front cover near the spine. Internally a little age toned towards the edges but otherwise clean and firmly bound. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
