Upper wrapper title; title continued: To Compensate the Friendly Creek Indians for Property Lost and Destroyed During the Late Creek War. At head of title: 101 (in brackets). Text of the report, plus supplemental texts by Secretary of War John C. Calhoun, Major General Thomas Pinckney, and others (including a 2-page statement of claims totaling $85,000 from Indian agent D. B. Mitchell). Dated April 5, 1824 on upper wrapper ('Read: Ordered that it lie upon the table'; upper wrapper). Rare copy of an important Native American-related document; sold 'as is'.
