Sobre este artículo
Toronto: Dominion and Ontario Governments. Good. 1944. First Edition. Softcover. 248 p. 24 cm. Sound and square binding in cardstock covers. Heavy staining to rear cover and spine and some ring stains on the front cover. Edges and corners have some wear. A couple of faint stamps on the back of the front cover. Inside pages are clean and unmarked overall. Maps are clean and unmarked. An important report, which was a fore-runner to the land conservation movement in Ontario. I remember seeing some of the eroded and abandoned farmlands in this area as a child, which were replaced by the Ganaraska Forest and have a much more appropriate use as recreational and forestry lands. Includes two folded maps in the back pocket: "Soils of the Ganaraska Watershed" and "Proposed Ganaraska Forest". B&W Photographs .
