Moderate toning to interior, light foxing in a few places, negligible faint dampstaining to preliminaries, library marking to verso of title page, small library stamp to following leaf. $450. * Only edition. Bridgeman says Caldecott was "peculiarly conversant" with settlement cases. His collection of reports was produced as a continuation of Sir James Burrow's Decisions of the Court of King's Bench, Upon Settlement-Cases, which covered the years 1732 to 1776. Founded in 1983, The Lawbook Exchange, Ltd. is devoted to all aspects of law and its history. It has two main components. The Antiquarian Book Department offers a wide range of Continental, British, and American books, manuscripts, and ephemera from the medieval era through the twentieth century. The Lawbook Exchange also offers appraisals and provides assistance with collection development. Originally a company that serviced law firms exclusively, it now serves thousands of lawyers,scholars, and institutions worldwide.
