London: The Hogarth Press, 1949. Second Edition (Revised & Enlarg. Brown Cloth. Very Good Plus/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. No Illustrations. 157pp. 1949. Second edition revised and enlarged. A english translation from the original German with an introduction and notes. Bound in brown cloth with gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Light bumps to the head and tail of the spine and to the tail of the front board. Slight fore edge foxing. The flaps of the original dust wrapperare loosely inserted into the book. Textblock is clean and tight. A very good plus, clean, tight copy in very good minus jacket. Original publisher's brown cloth boards - gilt embossed to the spine. Upper edge dyed brown as it should be. Former owner's ink name and place in blue ink ( John Buchanan Queen's College Cambridge) to the front endpaper. No foxing/spotting. The jacket has not been price-clipped. It is somewhat toned to the spine. The jacket is a little chipped at the head of the spine (no loss of text), and to the head of the rear panel and to the head of the front panel. There is also a couple of very small chips to a couple of corners. A very good copy indeed in very good or very good minus jacket. Well preserved.
