Sobre este artículo
Watchman Publishing Co. Very Good+ with No dust jacket as issued. 1892. First Edition. Hardcover. A tightly bound (in original calf and cloth) ASSOCIATION COPY relating to Vermont's T.S. Peck Insurance Company as well as Perley Peabody Pitkin, then Quartermaster General as accompanying this volume is a receipt signed by both Peck and Pitkin for reimbursement of expenses associated with meeting of a company of Infantry at HUntington Vermont in 1870, to the amount of $4.00. A history of Peck is also included. Peck founded T.S. Peck Insurance, still extant and located in greater Burlington Vermont. This copy shows light shelf wear, and has had the hinges - both front and rear - from midway down the spine - reinforced internally with cloth hinges and the whole tightened. The work was professionally done and shows only a slight ridge, the original covers being well attached with mull showing internally at the hinges. A Fantastic association copy and rare in this condition and with materials laid in. Ink notation on front endpaper of Dover Library Ownership (fountain pen), and remain of ink "DOVER" on spine. .
