New York: Dial Press, 1970 Soft cover, 231 pages. Illustrated cover wtih photo of Free by Richard Avedon. 10th edition, 1970. Black and white photos, drawings and press clippings in the text as well as sixteen pages of black and white photographs. Free's aliases included Abbie Hoffman and George Meteskey; he was arrested numerous times, helped found the Yippie movement, and had an extensive FBI file. Free was tried and convicted as one of the Chicago Seven for his role in protest and subversive movements of the 1960s. The cover is toned and creased. The edges are also toned and lighly soiled. A few ink squiggles on the cover, former owner's name on rear front endpaer. The interior is good. Fair condition. . Soft Cover. Fair/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
