Paris: Editions Emile-Paul Freres, 1928. The spine strip is missing part of the title and the front cover has a short tear at the tail's outer edge which has been repaired with acid free paper. Using a red pencil the previous owner has highlighted 'Stefan George' with a three quarter rectangle and an arrow pointing to the name. It's very neat as is the pencil mark beside two articles: Stefan George - Poèmes and an article by Bernt von Heiseler and Werner Myer " Stefan George et la jeunesse allemande" The book is also foxed throughout. For all its faults, a nice, resilient copy. I doubt the publisher, Stefan George or the original owner thought it would be found in an Australian country town nearly 90 years after its publication..
