Masefield served as Poet Laureate from 1930 to 1967.With a contemporary inscription a front endpaper, to 'Dorothy Hansen from Maud Russell', dated 1920. In a half calf signed binding, with gilt detailing to back strip, and cloth covered boards. Significant fading to back strip, with boards remaining exceptionally bright. Inscription to a front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
