Both covers profusely decorated with gilt. Red silk endpapers with ornate gilt frames inside front & rear covers. All edges gilt. Tri-color silk bookmark. Text tight, clean & intact. Protected by a custom dust jacket & slipcase. VG+ felt lined dust jacket: dark red morocco spine & front edges over marbled boards. Dust jacket spine has 5 bands & gilt lettering. Book and dust jacket are encased in a VG slip case with interior & exterior marbled boards & dark red morocco edge strip. [4, 220pp, 1]. Limited edition: #29 of 100 printed on heavy Japan paper. Illustrated with 6 color and 55 sepia toned plates derived from paintings & drawings. Tissue guards with a printed description protect each plate. Slipcase has a few rubs on edges & a small number label on top.
