Signed and inscribed by Robert Ludlum to his editor Richard Marek on the front free endpaper: "9-17-'74 / For Richard / Who knows I don't write / a book -- I re-write it / under the skilled eye of the / best editor in the world!! / With gratitude and love / Robert." Tiny bruise to upper front corner tip, very faint cloth discoloration in a couple of spots. A bright near fine copy in very good+ dustjacket with a short crease to front flap, two marks and small stains to rear panel. An extremely attractive and scarce presentation copy.; Octavo; Signed by Author.
Sinopsis
Robert Ludlum was the author of twenty-one novels, each a New York Times bestseller. There are more than 210 million of his books in print, and they have been translated into thirty-two languages. In addition to the Jason Bourne series— The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum —he was the author of The Scarlatti Inheritance, The Chancellor Manuscript, and The Apocalypse Watch, among many others. Mr. Ludlum passed away in March 2001.
