Sobre este artículo

London: Kegan Paul, 1885. Near fine.. Scarce first edition of poetry by the fairy-tale specialist arranged in categories like "Science," "Cameos," and "Rhymes a la mode." While Andrew Lang is now considered the fairy tale taste-maker of late 19th and early 20th century British nurseries, he also produced many original compositions; indeed, before the success of his color fairy books, Lang was primarily known as a poet. This is a beautiful copy of an early work by the Scottish author. 16mo, 6'' x 3.75''. Original gilt-stamped green cloth, beveled edges. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Illustrated with black and white frontispiece by E.A. Abbey. x, 139, [1] pages. Spine lightly rubbed and toned, some offsetting to endpapers, else clean and fresh.
