A very bright copy of this work. Written by scholar, librarian, biographer and keeper of printed books in the British museum, Richard Garnett. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, excellent, with minor shelfwear. The odd spots to boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. Plate at page 48 is detached but present. Pages are very bright. Occasional scattered spots to pages. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
