A hardback of this highly successful book. There are some issues with this copy - Some marks to boards. Good spine, complete, with dark brown titles. Solid. Contents: rear of front board bears previous owners inscriptions. Map laid in to front is intact and in good condition. Rest of contents clean and unmarked. Ffep removed. Fine crease to one page towards rear of book. Overall, a solid book, made into a film in 1979 with Michael York and Jenny Agutter.
Sinopsis
The Riddle of the Sands: A Record of Secret Service is a 1903 novel by Erskine Childers. It is an early example of the espionage novel, with a strong underlying theme of militarism.
